My husband recently built an outhouse for his hunting property. While working on it in the driveway neighbors became curious. He told them we quit paying our sewage and water bill. So I just had to do this image. The background was paper pieced with scraps and the image was colored with pencil and copics. A bit of wire was wrapped around the post and a bit of pan pastels was used for the ground. How fun this was and so is this challenge with so many guys in the family. I made up the sentiment and the inside reads "including a happy life for you and me."

We haven't built our own outhouse, but I have had this Judith stamp forever, and use it a lot! I guess somehow we were of one mind this morning!! Great job!!

I love your card and your sentiment! Reminds me of the card that my sister and I gave our dad, a cabinet builder, one father's day . It had an assortment of tools on the front and said "To the guy that can build anything". On the inside it said "from 2 of his little projects"

This is great Nancy. You do have a knack for layering, and the outhouse and sentiment are adorable! Love the purple flowers giving just that special touch of color.
