I'm always happy when the sketch is CAS. My brain can't think about too many layers and elements. I turned today's sketch on its side because I had that big stamp, never used, and thought it would make a good edge piece. I sponged Distress inks on the whisper white and stamped the 'refreshing color' stamp in black. I colored the 'believe in magic' stamp with markers. I used a paint brush stamp for the smallest piece. I also used this Limoge box from Saturday's challenge as my inspiration: http://www.limogesboxcollector.com/a...mp-p-2343.html
My daughter has a few of these boxes that she received as gifts when she was younger. I especially like the ones that are real objects, like this paint brush.
