Hmm, I have very few rose stamps in my collection - so any time Teapot Tuesday calls for roses, out comes Roses in WInter. A French twist -that's much easier - I just LOVE France and we'd move there if we could!
A2 card, one layer only plus embellishments.
First I stamped HA OlD French Script with Versafine Black.
Then I sponged with Antique Linen, Old Paper and Vintage Photo.
Then I stamped Linen, inked up with Weathered Wood.
Roses in Winter - Worn Lipstick and Fired Brick.
Some little bees to help pollinate the roses (and vines) and ensure a good supply of roses (and wine) for Mlle Maurcier.
A Paris postmark from French Foliage.
And to finish it off - stitching round the edges, a little flower made from a scrap of lace and some ribbon "foliage".

How pretty and totally romantic. Love the little lace flower accent-it's the perfect touch. Your shading gives this a beautiful patina and I love the little post card stamp. Darn I need to get mine out and play with it...lol This is gorgeous.
