This week our cards are headed off to Denise in San Antonio, Texas. Denise has had some major medical issues that she has been dealing with, and are getting her down. So the Teapotters are headed her way with some cheer, good wishes and loads of flowers.
It is said that Denise loves tulips and roses. I went with tulips. This is a beautiful image, that I colored using the whitewash technique, though I used Tsukineko Brilliance inks along with Color Box inks instead of using markers.
Luckily the borders were already die cut, so there wasn't too much that had to be done for this card. Hope is stamped on the purple panel, hope for Denise, that everything turns out well for her.
I so hope that the medical situation for Denise works out well. She is in my thoughts and prayers.

Jennifer, your tulips are so pretty in that light shade of purple with the whitewash technique! (I really have to try that!) Your card is dramatic with your lovely border punches and You have the perfect sentiment!

Jennifer, this is so rich and striking! That purple is gorgeous and then you added some lavender gingham which ALWAYS grabs me! Beautifully done tulips and punched edges, topped off with a simple, yet perfect sentiment!

Purple, black and white is a dynamite color combination Jennifer. This is gorgeous. The lace borders are dramatic and beautiful framing the tulips. I always have a soft spot for gingham paper too. Beautifully done.
