Wonderful choice for this week's Queen is Mary (Octoberbabe). Be sure to check out her gallery..it's fabulous! I started out with good intentions on Thursday but you know how it goes...one thing after another. I am sorry I am late Mary I hope you like my effort. This is the card I chose to case. HYCCT1207 Soft Garden Pink by octoberbabe at Splitcoaststampers I kept the basic lay-out but pretty much every thing else is changed. The image is from CTMH and is heat embossed on a book page covered with gesso. The corners and the background die-cut are from spellbinders and I added some heart stickers on the wings. For the bow I used the small oval punch. Enjoy your reign Mary.

I love your card! I want to try using Gesso - you got such a neat effect with it. Did you know your card would be perfect for the new SCS challenge - Mix-Ability - it's on Fridays and last Friday was the third one. Your card totally fits it - you've got the text and three forms of red - the ink, the hearts, and the cs! Here's the link if you want to add it there too:

Now isn't that bow clever. I thought that was a new die cut. Thanks for explaining! I love the idea and hope to remember to use it!
What a beautiful card! I love the image and the corners to frame it. Well done!

Sue, this is elegant and beautiful. Love the shiny hearts on the butterfly and bow. The corner scrolls are a lovely addition and I like the black/white color palette with a touch of red.
