This was a fun technique... kinda out of my comfort zone at first, but one I'll do again. First I stamped the En Francais background, then the flowers in Momento Tuxedo Black. Next, I colored the flowers and leaves with R05, R27, R46, R59 and YG95 Copics. I used the direct to paper technique to apply some Real Red ink, then wiped on some Worn Lipstick Distress Stain. Painted the larger flowers with Hot Cinnamon and Poppy Red Twinkling H2Os and painted Rock Candy Distress Crackle paint on the smaller blooms. Applied some Picket Fence Distress Stain to the five-petaled flowers to tone them down a bit.

Hilda, for someone out of their comfort zone, you certainly did an awesome job on the challenge! Really like your background and the highlights you've added to the flowers with the picket fence distress stain!

Love this! Terrific stamp, and all the techniques rock! And now I know what the Rock Candy looks like!
