Here is my book page for dizzymommie's Mixability challenge - What's WHITE and Read All Over.
For my "make-up" attempt, I printed another image from LilyPink Designs called Live, Laugh, Love on color laser copier paper this time. I colored the heart with a Red Scarlet Big Brush pen by Faber-Castell, then went over it with Siren Smooch by Clearsnap, again blended with a dry sponge (recycled the one I used above ). Then, I went around the outside of the heart with a Metallic Melon Gelato. Then, I took some Painterly Pink Studio paint by Ranger and put a small blob (what's the real word for that??) on my Craft Mat, add some water and painted it around the edge with my Water Brush by Faber-Castell. Then, I spritzed the whole thing (including the failed attempt above) with "Pearlized Water" - I think that my be a Jennifer McGuire trademark, but it's Pearl Perfect Pearls mixed with water (and shaken VERY vigorously). I put mine in a Mister Bottle by Ranger because it's pretty big. The whole thing is VERY sparkly in real life.
I wasn't quite done playing with stuff just yet. To the failed attempt, I added Rock Candy Distress Crackle Paint by Ranger to the "5" in the middle, and then hit set it (because I'm not patient in the least). When it was dry, I covered it with Bubble Gum Gelato by Faber-Castell. To the "better" attempt, I added a highlight to the heart with Gesso by Ranger. I actually used my finger for this, but I think I should've diluted it with water first for a more sheer look.
