This is for the Mixed Media challenge. We were to use black and white with 3 shades of red. First I made this beautiful glimmer spray using Real Red re-inker but I could not get it to look red, it looked pink. So I then took RR re-inker and sponged it on a template (like a honey comb) on top of newsprint paper from SU. I made a red burlap flower and sewed a copper button in the center (sort of) with b&w twine. Cut some leaves with a MB die. New to me. Stamped the sentiment in Archival Black ink. I love that ink. Its is very black and gives great coverage. Thats the only black I use for sentiments anymore. I also ran my leaves through the swiss dot ef. Also my sewing is red metallic thread.

Burlap is so hot right now, and on trend. I thought I was with it to even have any... and here you've gone red with yours! Great card with a lot of texture. I love my Archiver's pad too!
