I'm here to MIX it up and be in my hApPy color place...what a wonderful spot to be! Thanks to Janelle and Dawn for two very fun challenges. I'm ashamed to admit I've had both these images in my stamping studio for YEARS with inking them...well other than my image book. But they are good and stained now. When I read about the new MIX-Ability challenge, what's white and READ all over, I knew I wanted to use this 'make you ponder' sentiment from Cat's Life Press. Of course, I had to pair it with a mirror introspection!
My hApPy color place these days is robins egg blue and red. So I chose to use VersaFine Satin Red for the punch line of the sentiment. Part of the sentiment was inked with VersaFine Onyx Black as was the mirror. I colored lightly with Copics and used mirror paper. The hand mirror is popped for dimension. The base is slightly off set with the back punched with Fiskars eyelet punch and a big girlie bit of red tule.
Thanks for taking a closer look...and always your comments are an encouragement! Have fun hanging in your hApPy place today.

Oh what a beautiful creation Susan!!! How fun that you were able to do the Mix it up challenge. Sometimes those images are just waiting for the most appropriate time, and this was a good one. A unique image, and interesting sentiment. I love the red tulle. :>)

A typical inspiring and challenging card from you, Susan. You must have a very similar sentiment - or maybe you've just used something along the same lines to provoke a similar thought .

Wonderful sentiment, and of course the RED!

I've had times like this I always love your thoughtful interpretations of the challenges. Thoughtful, creative, and beautiful - just like your soul.
Thanks for the hello. I am out here for a little burst of time but might disappear again for a while. My next few months look busy. I took today off and I HAD to bust out some art before tackling a ginormous (and wonderful) task.
