I saw a wonderful card on a Papertrey challenge, by Lynn Put, that gave me the idea for making the chevron border. I stamped the sunflowers, leaves and accent dot on white cardstock, then used the PTI chevron die to cut it. Also cutting some canyon clay cs and limeade ice pattern pack DP. I cut the chevron strips apart, then pieced them together on the white panel. I diecut the sunflower, stamped it and popped it up with foam tape. The sentiment was added and the panel placed on a limeade ice card base.

Sue, I think your card has a wonderful contemporary feeling with how you have constructed your chevrons with the variety of DPs. The stylized sunflower is wonderfully done too.

Wow Sue, your card really pops! I LOVE your chevron die cut strips. Really fun and creative. The challenge colors were perfect for your beautiful card. Your die cut sunflower and sentiment are the perfect touches. TFS

How fun!!! This would be a great card for anyone, but a cool teenage card too, as they can be hard to do sometimes.
