I have no mojo for Valentine's Day cards this year, but felt I had to make this for my DH. It was a long time in the making.
I used the LOVE image sent to me by my punchie pal, coffeemaker. Thanks Perkz.
The first layer is clear embossed with musical scoring and the hearts are double embossed which is why I think the hearts kind of faded out. You can't see from the photo, but the definition of Valentine's Day is clear embossed and then the stems of hearts was embossed over it with real red. The LOVE image was already white embossed by Sue when she sent it to me. I popped up the image and valentines on dimensionals.
I used a heart border punch on the inside, one in black and one in red.
Not what I really wanted, but hope it will pass the test with DH.
Thanks for taking a look!

Well, I'm going to try this again.......everything froze up when I tried to comment earlier.
I do love this card. The red, black and white are perfect. The two hearts with the "heart flowers" are really pretty and I love the embossed music on the bg panel.

I have that stamp set and love it-no pun intended, Pam! I can't see the shiny embossing, but I'm sure it looks pretty irl. I like your layout with the love on top and the 2 hearts representing each one of you; that really speaks volumes~Hugs
