I created this little scene for my son's valentine. He's grown, but all of his life we've had a "thing" for frogs between us. When I saw this adorable set by Penny Black called Toadally Happy, I couldn't resist!
The image was stamped on watercolor paper with VersaFine Onyx Black. I masked it off and stamped the bg with various small grass and leaf stamps in several shades of green. I added watercolor to the plants to soften the lines, and used them to color the pond and sky.
The image was colored with colored pencils, and I highlighted the heart with Glossy Accents and around the lily pad with Gelly Roll Stardust pens.
The frame and card base were diecut with SB dies. All in all, I think he's pretty cute, and I'm going to add him to the WT413 challenge to use green.
As always, thanks for looking!

First I was WOW, then I was AWE with that "frog thing"... he's going to LOVE it! Thanks for being green with me this week!
