This week our cards are headed off to Wisconsin, (glad it's just the cards and not me, too cold there) to Marian. Marian is in a nursing home after a bad fall and breaking both of her legs.
Marian loves to daffodils and ladybugs, and chocolate (my kind of lady). Thus all the ladybugs and daffodils in the gallery this week.
This daffodil is stamped, embossed and then white washed, then colored with Tombow markers. Thus the very muted tones.
The ladybug sort of steals the show here, as it's so vivid and large. It's antennae are made using a curl from a flourish die.
Millicent's garden will be bad bug free with Ladybugzilla and all her little helpers that have come to the rescue!

LOVE your ladybug, Jennifer....she has such personality with those googly eyes. : ) Your daffodil is done so exquisitely done with your white washing technique. Marian is surely going to enjoy receiving your cards.

You better guard that hand painted chocolate Easter egg, ladybugzilla is staring at it all bug eyed and all. Get it in the mail fast before that huge hungry bug gets it.

Now that is one amazing ladybug! She certainly takes the cake on this card, and she looks like she's getting ready to plant a big 'ol kiss on that daffodil! Love the ribbon and button treatment~
