Congratulations again to Beate - for becoming our newest Queen for the Day. I made two very similar cards while casing this beautiful card of Beates Black eyed Susan
I have always been a BIG fan of Beates, right from when I started on SCS. From her gorgeous cards to her amazing tutorials. Thanks for everything you do, BEATE.... and for being such a wonderful inspiration to all of us...
My Daisies are from Marks Finest Papers. Coloured with Stampin Up and Tombow markers. Cut out with oval spellbinders. Kept the image inside the die cut frame and sponged around the edges. Layered with green dp and navy cardstock. Made my Base card using 3 different designer papers (Amuse, Forever in Time and Prima Marketing. Rounded the bottom corners on all layers. Sewed on dp. Adhered the rhinetsone flourishes and navy velvet Ribbon. On this card I Stamped the birthday sentiment, cut out with oval spellbinder and matted with scalloped navy oval. Sponged around the sentiment with night of navy ink. Punched out two butterflies and glued on using crystal effect. Glued on the tiny rhinestones to the butterflies and the bottom of the sentiment oval. Image panel is popped up. I used the same layout as Beate's. Finished the inside of the card.
Hope you are enjoying your reign, Queen Beate
Hugs..Pat

Oh, Pat, I love the way you have honored Beate with this card!! I love the daisies and the blue and green you've chosen to use. What a cool idea to use the diamond pattern over the script like that. I always love your stitching, and the rhinestones are a nice embellishment as well. Super!! :>)
