I borrowed a layout from the 2012-13 Stampin Up catalog, page 166 for this card. ItÂ’s fun and easy once I get the papers matched up, itÂ’s amazing how long that can take and they are all from the same company (Die Cuts with a View) but a couple different tablets.
The large and small flowers were shaped/de-embossed using a metal ball stylus and folded paper towel for cushion.
The sentiment panel is popped up with foam tape. The large flower center is popped with two layers of cardstock to add height but avoid getting it too high for regular mailing.
Dry embossing design is from the Cuttlebug set Frills.
The scalloped border is cut with Nestabilities.
Both flowers are cut with EK Success punches.
Large center is – Spellbinder Nestabilities bordered with 1 ½” EK Success punch, small center is cut from the Asterisk Cuttlebug set. The leaves are also Spellbinder Shapeabilities Flower Creations 3, one mounted on the card base and one on the raised panel.
The insert consist of strips of cardstock taped together to create a single layer and avoid bulk.
An old Cornish Heritage Farms backgrounder image was used to stamp the large flower center using Stampin Up - Apricot Appeal. I checked and at this time the backgrounder image is not available in the new CHF store.
The sentiment from Stampin Up is stamped with Memento – Tuxedo Black
All designer papers are from Die Cuts with a View, solid color is Stampin Up - Apricot Appeal, white is unknown.
