for some reason I had it in my head this was for an "ship". doesnt matter Ive been having a discussion with my gal at work about trends and she has two things she cannot stand. ( polka dots and stamping on text paper) so. the other day she came to work with a card she stamped a bloom on a piece of paper and embossed it and such ( she hates this card ) and tossed the book at me... ( she knows I have a basket of old used mismatched books Ive picked up at yard sales to stamp on and never did it...) anyways. I did make another card with a page from her book. and then I went to the closet and dragged out this part of a set of dictionaries which I only have volume 2. and I was flipping through this and came across the ship illistration and ripped it right out of that book. its been inked with some distress tumbled glass and old paper inks. the stamps are old SU. the eyelets are holy cow harder then heck to smack with a hammer straight. ( have not done that in years) anyways. this mostly uses scraps on the table and some other metals. this is 6" square in real life. the big metal piece says dream on it, but it did not photograph well. thanks for this challenge Ina... and thanks for looking.

Stacy, this is so cool! I love the layout of this card and the use of the plaid paper and the torn piece out of the dictionary. Are you giving this to your friend at work for a joke? I love the 'wanted' tag and the metal embellishment as well as the eyelets, even though they caused you grief! I haven't used them for a long time myself either. So glad you could make a card for the boat challenge!
