For this challenge, we were asked to create a scrapbook page using a sketch. This challenge was difficult for me. Not because I don't scrapbook or anything like that but because we had a flood in our finished basement last year and all the books I had worked so hard on were destroyed. So needless to say it brought up many emotions (and that's a whole different post!). Since the flood- I no longer keep hard copies of pictures. I keep everything digital (and not in family room in the basement!).
I used MDS2 for the very first time when I created this page so please forgive me for not being very fancy! I'm still learning this wonderful program and I'm sure I'll have it mastered soon!
The pictures are mostly of my daughter Amanda. This was her senior prom. She didn't go with a date but with a bunch of her silly friends (which you can see from the picture- they're making funny faces).

Don't give up on your scrapbooking. Start today and make one page a month. I cant imagine losing that history. The journaling and the stuff that I would forget if I didnt write it down. Your page is awesome, draws your eyes right to the photo and your beautiful daughter and her amazing dress. Keep scrappin, you have a wonderful eye for it!

Dani this is super! I love the black and pink you used! As you get comfortable with MDS you will soon start remembering all the paper scrapbooking techniques you loved you can mimic with digi - or modify for sure! I would be heartbroken too to lose all of the work in my albums.

How fun! Love the black background...really makes your embellishments and photos pop. So, so sorry about the loss of your books. Yep, I'm making that transition to digital too. Keep 'em coming. You're going to love MDS!

I'm so sorry to hear about the flood you had. I can't even imagine how upsetting that must have been. Your scrapbook page is so pretty and I'm sure you'll create many more beautiful pages.
