For Brenda's challenge to be inspired by hexagons, once she'd mentioned basalt columns I was determined to use a photo from a visit to the Giant's Causeway in County Antrim a couple of summers ago. It took me quite a while to come up with an idea, though! I'd have liked to do a diorama, but wanted something I could do in the 45 minute window, so a shadow box card was a better bet.
I used the measurements in the tutorial, with Core'dinations for my card base. After cutting the circle in the front I embossed it with D'Vine Swirls and sanded it. Starving Artistamps pilings and a QuicKutz gull finish off the front. I threaded some twine round the stamped pilings.

This is just too cool! Love the swirls and the incredible photo! That'd be a fun photo challenge sometime to find shapes in nature-God sure displays His majesty in creation!
