The digi image was printed on X press cardstock in draft mode so the image was not harsh then colored with pencils. I almost believed I could color those tiny details with copics- not a chance (chuckle) Created several layers from cardstock after embossing the Sahara sand layer. Hand stitched around the edges after punching holes with a plastic needlepoint canvas. Set mini eyelets and used fine twine for the X's.

Nancy, you do the most beautiful evocative scenes. This is gorgeous...your coloring and shading is phenomenal. Beautiful soft grays surround it and the "cross-stitching" with twine is a wonderful rustic touch.
