This is a birthday card that I made for a dear friend of mine. The frame was created by using a stamp from JustRite’s stamp set called “Lace Borders Two”. I stamped the border four times, trimmed each one and mitered the corners. That was a little bit of a challenge. I attached the strips to the edge of a piece of vanilla shimmery paper from my scrap box. This made the placement on the card a little easier. The flower was made with a set of dies from La-La Land Crafts and the leaves are from a Cheery Lyn die called Olive Branches. I cannot wait to try this again.

That's beautiful - and because I was in between computers at the time, I didn't get a chance to say that I thought your SC daisy card in the lovely blues looked just great!

This is gorgeous! I love the striking yellow flower against the beautiful blue. You did an excellent job mitering the corners...that would be a huge challenge for me. Your friend is sure to love this card, too.
Thank you for your very kind comment on my card, too. We do live fairly close to one another. :-)
