For this week's Inspiration Challenge, Stef sent us to Sana Designer Wear. At first glance, it seemed a bit intimidating! But then I saw this in the bridal section: http://www.sanadesignerwear.com/more...product_id=313
I ran the panel thru my Big Kick with the SU! embossing folder. Then I lightly ran some white ink over the panel, just to lighten the raised area a little. Next I got my Glue pad and light ran it over the panel a few times and added the ultra fine glitter.
That glitter is now all over my craft room! You know that saying, "I am so glam, I glitter" ? Well I am so glitter I just may be glam! LOL Anyway, the floor sure is sparkly now!
Then I tried using white cardstock and adding silver glitter for the medallion. But I just couldn't get good enough coverage. So I used a piece of Darice Silver glitter paper. The medallion die is from the SM Parisian Accents, which I thought would be appropriate.
For my sentiment a circle punch, Verve sentiment and some ColorBox ink. This card is totally impractical! But it is SUPER sparkly : )
Thanks for taking a peek!

Doesn't that woman look so regal in that dress-and that is exactly what you captured with this glittered beauty. I love glitter too. My boys hate it-but they have to put up with it as it is usually everywhere....lol Great inspiration and great interpretation!

Super sparkle! This really captures the essence of many of the items from Sana Design..the small scale textured bg and all that glitter..and the silver frame for your circle really adds to the elegance of this. Lovely card Kathleen!

I'm glad you pushed through the intimidation factor and found inspiration ... love the glittery sparkle on your background (and I'm sure it looks marvelous on you as well) ... fabulous inspired design.

Your card definitely has the glitter factor going on, Kathleen! But aren't you suppose to keep it on the card and not on the floor? Tee Hee A nice way to let someone know you love them, even if they already do know~
