Our stamp club meets on the first Monday of every month. The January project were these little scissor holders made from card stock. I cut the pattern by folding over a piece of paper and cutting a heart shape (the way we used to do at school) and added a tab on one side. Then cut the pattern out of various pieces of cardstock..folded in half and then folded down a flap on one side. I used Aleene's tacky glue to fasten the tab closed and decorated with various embellishments and stamps. The idea is to put your scissors in when you come to class to protect all the other 'stuff' in your tote and they make cute little gifts and give-aways. The top can be cut with some of those shaped scissors we all purchased eons ago before die-cuts came into vogue. (I am trying to keep my New Year's resolutions about using up the stash I have already!) So far...so good.

...sure its got a catchy beat, but can you stamp to it?
life is something that happens only when you run out of cardstock
