I wanted to try another card for the ways to use it challenge to use cork. I had torn some cork for the previous card and ended up using the straight edge version instead. I decided to go for a re-do of the same elements in a stepped up version using yesterday's sketch challenge sketch from Korin. I started with a piece of this cool packaging material that DD had from Crate and Barrel wedding gifts (had to save that stuff cuz I knew it would look cool on a card someday!). I tore and sponged this with Soft Suede and Early Espresso. I had the piece of Pool Party already embossed in Houndstooth ef so I just cut it to size. I stamped my Shore Birds in EE again and sponged the sky in Pool Party. I cut my sentiment banner in Chocolate Chip and stamped with Early Espresso. Last addition was a metal starfish on a 3D pop dot. I also ran my card through the crimper in different directions several times then smoothed it out with a bone folder to give the base some texture.
