I am trying to catch up with some of last week's sketches, and I loved the first sketch by Janette (SC418#.
The back rectangular panel is one of the new techniques I learned a couple weeks ago. The base is white glossy cardstock. I took alcohol ink and sprinkled a couple of drops on cellophane, squished it, ran my brayer over it quickly and ran in one direction over the cardstock. After it dried, I stamped a TH stamp in black and stamped my image on top. I really like this technique (messy but fun).
Thanks so much for taking a closer look Hope you like it.

Beautiful Asian inspired card, Barb. You are creating some outstanding cards with your newly learned technique. Really makes for an artistic and abstract bg. Love your color palette on this one.
