I knew I'd missed last week's sketch challenge, did I really miss the one before that too?
Time to get my act together - I used today's sketch to make a little card for the current ODBD challenge to Border It.
I used the largest Fleur de Lis squares to cut my base from kraft. I embossed the top layer with Swiss Dots, and defined the square with a brown marker.
Green and red Bazzill embossed.
I used markers to ink up a stamp from Bird and Butterfly Labels, stamped it on watercolour paper and cut it with Labels 18. Sentiment is from Be Joyful.
Image and sentiment are both popped up on foam. Since I'd miniaturised the card a bit, I had to use my thinnest foam tape.
It's wet and grey, grey, grey here today, no birds singing in the garden.

I think we were on the same page today, Sabrina, using little birds and coloring them with markers. Your card is wonderful in the fleur-de-lis shape. Just so pretty...and I see some RED in there, don't I???

Love the sweet image in its perfect frame. Love your textured panels and faux stitching too! It is bright and sunny here today, but REALLY cold. More inspiration to make my light box as I froze going outside for the sunshine!
