I thought that this week's MFT sketch looked great for a no-frills guy card, so I got out Fred Bear Goes West.
A2 base. Blue Bazzill and October Afternoon Campfire. I cut the scalloped oval in the DP and then laid it over the Bazill to correctly position the aperture in that. Edges of DP distressed and sponged with Vintage Photo.
Fred stamped and masked, then I stamped in the cacti, masked them and sponged the background.
Coloured with distress inks - Forest Moss, Crushed Olive, Rusty Hinge, Fired Brick, Frayed Burlap, Tea Dye, Brushed Corduroy, Vintage Photo, Walnut Stain, Broken China.
Sentiment punched with oval punch, edges sponged with Broken China. It's layered up on a scrap of brown punched with the Designer Label punch, embossed with Textile and sponged with Walnut Stain. I used two tiny blue brads to attach it, and popped it up on foam dots.

Wowzers!!! Sabrina this is ADORABLE in such a handsome and masculine way of course! All your masking has created such depth in your scene - and your coloring is AMAZING. I've never tried coloring with distress inks - you've inspired me to give it a try! Maybe I'll pull out my Roses in Winter and try using them in Distress Inks (tee hee hee!). Hugs and blessings!
