Joan's technique challenge is to let the paper on the inside of our card show through. I cut off an inch from the edge of my card stock and then used my MS border punch.
I used petite oval Nestabilities on the inside, matting my gingham dp with real red card stock.

What a great border punch. The gingham showing through is a perfect background for your rustic rooster. Well, it looks like a rooster from here, but with the basket of eggs I'm guessing it's really a hen. What do I know anyway!!

Fabulous country card and love that border punch (haven't seen that before)! Love that you used gingham inside to echo the gingham pattern in the image!

Your DSP is so perfect for this card! Love the way it coordinates with the country theme and red and white on your image. Gorgeous coloring on your image and a beautifully-punched border.
