Hi Everyone!! This card is for several challenges, including today's IC Challenge and this week's QFTD Challenge. The IC website (Layla Grace) had so many gorgeous items from clothing and jewelry to home goods - here's the item that inspired my card: { Bella Notte Coverlet }
This week's Queen is one AMAZING and very creative stamper. Her name is Jennifer (aka Mother's Daughter) and her design style is so beautiful I fell in love with every one of her cards!! After choosing several possibilities I decided on this one: { Jennifers Beautiful Sunshine Love and Laughter Card }
Changes were different PATP, different floral elements, different dies and added lace/ribbon/florishes. Also no embroidery design and very different sentiment. Thank you Jennifer for your wonderful inspiration!! Enjoy your day in the spotlight - you deserve it!!!
To make this card I punched FOUR vanilla panels using MS' Punch around the page punch, stamped the SU background stamp on the top layer, stamped and punched the ODBD Sentiment Panel, Die-cut the floral spray and butterfly, worked on placement and assembled everything. Sometimes the assembly can take the longest LOL!!!
Unfortunately I needed this card because my Boss in Boston lost his Father last week. I know what it's like to lose a Dad and while it's different when you're Daddy's little girl I can still relate to what he and his family must be going through.
If you like you can check out { My Blog } for more photos and details.
Thanks everyone for stopping by.
Hugs and Blessings!
Audrey

If I hadn't seen the sentiment, I would have thought it was a lovely Victorian valentine. Gorgeous card....your details and design are always breath-taking.
