Sliding n the back door, and extending the time Sherry's mailbox will be loaded with tea potters cards, here comes the slacker!
I wanted to make a card that had peace and calm, and the essence of a garden too - used some retired SU DP, in the background and utilized all the colors in the paper, added my little image from Embossing Arts, with some help from sillyfilly, and dressed up the bottom with a border, a bow, and my sentiment. Hope our cards and prayers bring Sherry some peace in her life.
If you want to join our party, just add MMTPT232 to your keywords.
Thanks for looking, sorry I was late!!

I just got to the bottom of the gallery and refreshed the page and there you are, Sue, with that gorgeous paper that always reminds me of embroidery, and such an inviting chair to sit in and enjoy the garden.

...and worth the wait!! What a wonderful card, Sue. Relaxing in the garden is just the best way to pass time, and this idyllic scene surely captures that. Love all of the sweet details, that lace is rockin' this! Beautifully thought out and executed, Sherry will just love this. You know how I feel about being late...makes the love last longer. Thanks for coming to Sherry's Teaparty. Hugz and Happy New Year.

oh yeah....let me just sit down over here a moment and rest...this is so sweet and comforting...love the papers and all your cuts....so glad you made it to the party
Sue this is a smashing card! So beautiful. I love how you colored that image. You have gotten really good with those Copics. That dp is perfect for this image too. We used the same sentiment stamp. That was such a pretty set of stamps. SU needs a new one with similar sentiments. Although this one is classic and will never go out of style so to speak. This card will be cherished.

Hi, Sue. A GORGEOUS card for Sherry. Your coloring of the image panel is exquisite and I love the lacy edges of your die cuts to make it a really feminine card. Wonderful color choices too.
