What a fun sketch to work with. I used some of my new papers that I got for Christmas. I used the Hello sentiment from the Mark's Finest Papers set called Dogwood Blossoms The roses on this card are some that I made yesterday using several pages from a 1960 encyclopedia. I shocked my husband as he saw me rip the pages from the book. I'll have to admit that it was hard to do at first, but it got easier when I looked at it as bound dp. My husband got the set at an auction for $1. Just as a fun side note, the pages for these roses were from the H encyclopedia and were about King Henry the 8th.

Marilynn, a lovely card! Wow brave you, I have tried to cut up books or sheet music but just can't bring myself can't do it! But I am going to give it another try, once I first damage the book, I am thinking it will get easier.....
