For this week's CAS challenge, Denise asked us to make a card with postage or faux postage.
First, I must apologize for the lighting in this photo. I had so much trouble trying to have enough light to show the edges of the postage "stamps" and not too much where everything turns into a blizzard!
Anyway, this card will be for my 22 year old son who left this morning for Troy University. It took him a while, but he is going to college! I made the white backing of the postage stamps with my Cricut and the Sentimentals cartridge at 1 3/4 inches. The stamps on each one is a Just Rite Large Fancy sentiment.
Fun challenge Denise!

Hee hee hee.........Ha ha ha! The title of your card is hilarious Kathleen!!! It is such a cute card. At first I thought it might be a valentine for someone, but how clever to use it for your son's going away to college card. Hey, some kids take a little longer to find their path in life. Better to have him go now and want to, than for him to have gone out of HS and not finishing or not knowing what he wanted to major in. My DD spent 13 years being a surgical technician before deciding she wanted to be an RN. In between she was thinking of going back to school to major in everything between forensic science to mortuary science. Best of luck to him Kathleen!!!! Oh and back to your card, I really love the font on those stamps. So flourishy!!!
