This card is greatly inspired by one I saw of Wendy Weixler's... thanks Wendy!
I am very pleased with this card but...
wonder if I should make a more traditional Sweet 16 card for my son's classmate (I don't know her)?? I wonder if "the value of our craft" will be lost to her? She may not appreciate it as a Sweet 16 card (at all?!?).
What are your thoughts? I'd appreciate hearing them!
There "is" a row of diamonds across the front of the crown and one at the highest center point also, you can hardly see them! The crown is raised from the window sheet on dimensionals. Glass beads are in the shaker frame (store bought).
EDIT: This card is on the town "tonight (smile)!" The sentiment, "Queen for a Day" is followed on the inside with a computer generated message: ...AND for the year! Happy Sweet 16
Thanks a lot for your input..., and for looking too! Cheers!!

I think it's adorable and she will love it! The details are so pretty and I love the crown on the shaker box! Perfect. Thanks for joining us at the PPA Challenge, the first of 2013! - Dawn

Nope. I don't think the value of this beauty will be lost on her. It will be the most special card she gets, and she'll know it. I had the same feelings about a graduation card I made for a young man, and he oogled and ahhhed about it for the longest time. Don't change a thing! Thanks for sharing with us at Pals Paper Arts this week!
Hi Cindy, That's wonderful insight and sounds "right on" to me... Thanks so much for that! I do appreciate the feedback. No doubt, she won't have another card like this one (LOL)! Sincere Thanks!
Of course, thanks also for stopping over here to comment!! I had fun w/your challenge and really look fwd. to trying some more of them!
Thank you and... Happy Stamping!
