I almost never make acetate cards because I HATE trying to take a decent photo of them. And I couldn't find my lens-cleaning cloth to get some stray ep off this one. But as soon as I read Dawn's challenge this morning, I knew I wanted to make a clear card with dry embossing and a snowflake. For yesterday's WT challenge to use new things - I got the IO snowflake dies too late for my Christmas cards, so it's only the second time I've used them. And hidden under the snowflake, the sentiment on the inside is from an ODBD set that only arrived in the post today.
A2 acetate base. Bottom part embossed with snowflake ef. Top part stamped with flake from Season of Friendship in StazOn White.
I cut 3 of the largest snowflake and one of the smallest. For the front I used a large and a small, inked with Versamark and embossed with Iridescent Ice. There's a silver gem in the centre. I backed it with another plain one on the inside.
Sentiment stamped with Brilliance Mediterranean Blue and embossed with Iridescent Ice, so while you can't see it, there's more sparkle on the inside. It was cut with a small Spellbinders circle and layered onto another large snowflake, positioned so that when the card is closed it's layered behind the one on the front. There's a circle on the back of the card the same size as the sentiment panel - space to write a brief note...

Gorgeous!!! Your clear card is amazing!!! Wonderful technique!!! Using the brown in the background looks amazing! Makes me want to do a "Masculine" snowflake card with a rich brown like that! I LOVE this so much!!!
