Trish has crowned us all Queens this week. To celebrate the New Year, we are each Queen for the Day -- and we were to choose a card from our own 2012 gallery and CASE it. A technique I learned this year (and have learned to love) is monochromatic variegated sponging (my words, not an "official" technique name). I first saw it in Jean's (naturecoastcrafter) gallery and made this card. I have since used this technique numerous times. I don't, however, think I ever did it in green.

Lovely! The green works well with the vine. Love your sponging technique! I also love your original card with the blue and the lighthouse!
So glad you played along and I hope you feel special, like the Queen that you are!
