I wanted to participate in the technique challenge to do a chalkboard card and decided to go with a CAS sketch from the 200th party that I didn't get to participate in the other week.
I stamped my image in versamark and embossed with white ep. I have a set of these cute cupcake Valentine picks and adhered that with foam squares. I layered a piece of red rick rack, rounded my bottom corners and sponged a little craft white ink around and put it onto a white base.
*Note to self: time to make that light box for photos. Had to go outside to get light and you can see the snow accumulating on the card!

super cute Valentine Gail, the pick was a great addition, I can relate to photo taking issues.. I remember taking my photo's on the deck out back for the light, every once in a while the wind would take the card over the edge into the damp grass...It was hold and snap a picture quick. Good luck with the light box... I miss the snow... Happy New Year

that little tic tac toe is great. the card is adorable. the snow doesn't look so bad but make the light box anyway, you won't have to freeze your tootsies off taking pics.
