Combined two challenges for my card - Technique Lovers Challenge for Chalk, and Featured Stamper Sabrina aka Cook22. Congrats Sabrina!!!
I loved the simple layout on Sabrina's Dog Rose card and changed it ever so slightly. I used a different embossing background, replaced the rose with bakers twine and bow and placed the sentiment on the bottom rather than the side.
My chalkboard technique was done by stamping my sentiment using white Versamark - and then NOT adding embossing powder! My chalkboard dust was made by thumping my embossing buddy directly on the black!
Thanks for taking a peek!

LOL at the embossing buddy providing the dust! I couldn't believe how much residue it left even just wiping the card with it. I love the neutrals with just a hint of colour from the twine and the XXOO - and the stamping on the frame of the chalkboard is so perfect.

Well, of course....the embossing buddy! I am embarrassed to say that I did not even think about that even as I was wiping off the dust from using my embossing buddy...lol! Too funny....definitely a "duh" moment....adorable card!
