I haven't stamped in a long time, but I've started back lately. It's been so long since I've posted that my old gallery is gone even!!! So, I'm back now under a little different name. It's interesting though because I feel like now, I know better what I like to make. Before I "cased" a lot and tried tons of techniques, colors, etc. Now, almost everything I do has kraft paper in it! I just like it for some reason. Anyway, this card loosely fits in with the color challenge of marina mist, cherry and brown. This is a sympathy card for the loss of a pet. I thought the clouds implied a better place and the colors helped keep this kind of card from being too somber. The "stitching" was done using a Sew Stamper mini rolling stamp which are fun (but a little challenging to use). I don't know the brands of the papers because I have such a smorgasbord of paper. I really love Stampin' Up paper for card bases and Stampin' Up punches though. Hopefully I will continue to stamp and post cards. It is really fun, although my housecleaning may suffer for it!! Ha ha!

wonderful sympathy card, love your thoughts on your cloud dp, awesome ribbon... Glad you are enjoying making cards again... New techniques are always fun to try, but sometimes just doing what we love most is enough... I am thankful every day I get to create....
btw, My house cleaning has suffered, ... but I got over it.. lol..
