Congrat's to this weeks Featured Stamper, Sabrina, aka Cook22! I chose THIS sweet card to CASE from Sabrina's fantastic gallery and kept the general theme, changing the bird to a quirky owl - still having fun with my new Paper Smooches Christmas presents!
I had some pre-embossed cardstock in my stash which I sponged with ink for a wood effect to achieve a similar bg to Sabrina's card. I changed the layout slightly using a fishtail banner instead of a tag and using a larger circle in the lower corner.
I used a page from a vintage book called British Weekly Pulpit, circa 1890 - it's very yellowed with age and I sponged it with SU's Cool Caribbean ink before adding it as a bg for the owl.
The branch is an MFT Tree Die-namic and the leaves are from Cheery Lynn Designs Fanciful Flourish.
