I was inspired today by the mad stamper's card with "faux embossing"! So this is my try at it. It is banana, but it photographed darker. I love it and am going to do more with this cool look! I just used one layer of punched banana flowers on matching banana cardstock. I stuck them on with glue stick. If the edges are not attached down securely it ruins the faux effect. So glue stick was what I used. And my regular 1/4 inch hole punch for the dots. Thanks for the great idea!

VERY COOOOOOL!!! I love it. I think I have fallen in love with this technique. I really like embossing but I dont like the cramps in my hand so this eliminates the prob. You did a awesome job. Gotta love the word window too.
Happy Stampin!

I love dry embossing, but I don't always have the template for what I want. This looks just amazing! I like everything about your card. I will definitely give this one a try! TFS.

The technique is done very well, and so it makes for an absolutely beautiful card! I love the patterned paper you chose - one of my favorite! Great work!
