It was THIS gorgeous card by blindstamper which Lydia shared on facebook yesterday that put me in the mood for colourful butterflies (and it's absolutely bleak here today - dark, gray, cold, and so rainy!) These butterflies are from Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps New Beginnings and there are some fabulous matching dies to go along with them, but I just got a brand new pair of scissosrs and wanted to try them out with some fussy cutting - turns out they hurt my fingers! :(
Butterflies are colored with copics and bg is dry embossed.

A real BEAUTY Bridget! Those bright butterflies would brighten anyone's day and that prayer is always appropriate. Hope your day gets brighter...we've had gloomy weather lately, too.

You did a fabulous job cutting them out, Bridget! I love seeing butterflies in pairs.....so pretty.....and wonderful embossing panels for these beauties~

WOW.....GORGEOUS.....Just LOVE all that color in front of that pretty embossing...awesome fit for the sketch....TFS...in my favs. for sure...:0)
