Today's CAS challenge is an inspiration challenge with the suggestion of mailing your card to Sandy Hook Elementary School in Connecticut. What a wonderful idea! In no way will cards ease the grief and pain of the families of the victims and the members of the community but at a time like this we are all at a loss as to what we as individuals can do. Sending a card is one way of letting people know we are thinking of them.
The inspiration picture featured candles in pots decorated with pine and berries. I have no candle stamps, die cuts, etc. so I chose to make a wreath with my MS punch and used liquid pearls for the berries on the wreath. The sentiment is from a set by Hero Arts I purchased at Archivers a while back since I had no appropriate sentiments for a sympathy card.
