For Brenda's quilt block pattern challenge. I hope this counts - it's not actually a quilt block pattern but it is most definitely based on a Tudor Rose block I used years ago on a knitting bag. I didn't think I could use my lovely WhipperSnapper quilt stamps in the allocated time!!
5 3/4" square base. Green glittered paper stamped with Cover-a-Card Leaves in Mowed Lawn, corners punched. I cut 3 sizes of Spellbinders Blossoms from white card and cut the large one into segments. After sponging the edges with pink I re-assembled it in a slightly exploded form. The two smaller ones were left whole and sponged with yellow. I added a little yellow flower button tied with pink ribbon, and black stitching lines on everything.

Wow! This is a beautiful applique quilt pattern! I don't think I could have done it in 45 minutes! All the details are just perfect. I might have to case this one. Thanks for the inspiration.
