This card came about as I've enabled another of the ladies from my LSS. Pam has loved all the embroidered pieces I've done, and most recently bought most of the books. She started working on this pattern but had troubles, so she asked for my help. To really be able to help her, the best way was to do it myself. I found the problem, there's a hole that's only used for the finishing stitches. It's confusing at first, but one you do a section, you realize that it's not an error.
I want to do this one again, but I'll turn 2 of the center points to either be pointing at each other in the center, or away from the center. Either way would be nice.
I had this pretty ribbon that worked perfectly with my thread color choices and the matching metallic c/s.
Not that I'm sending the bell, but it matches too.
This card is for a friend's upcoming birthday. She'll be 50! A unique way to say Happy Birthday.

Wow, this is gorgeous. I love how perfectly your ribbon matches the colors of your embroidery. How awesome that looks. I have never tried it but I know someone who lives in my town that does it. It's exceptional. You are so sweet to help your friend!
