This card if for today's SCS Color Combination Challenge~ Misty Cherry Espresso.
I love the colors that Mary chose and I was able to get the dessert in as well to add something Christmas related.
I have been experimenting with distress inks. The ornament was cut out of white card stock and I directly applied broken china ink. Then I applied white distress stain to the star image and stamped onto the ornament. Lastly I spritzed the ornament with white perfect pearl mist. Gives it a lovely shimmer. The layout is from the MFT Wed Sketch challenge #76.
Enjoy!

Peggy, this is awesome. I love the way you used the deep tones of the cherry cobbler with the contrast of your wide blue panel. The bold sentiment is just perfect.

Peggy, a stunning Christmas card. I know it has many layers, but it still has the clean and crisp look of a CAS card. Love the tree created by the stacked greeting.
