Today would have been my little brother's 50th birthday. Eight yrs ago, he unexpectedly, without warning, passed away from a presumed "sudden heart attack." My parents and I miss him everyday of every month of every yr. This card is in remembrance of his birthday, the day we were blessed that he became a part of our family. Bobby was an exceptional person who touched many lives, making them better. He was intelligent, funny, sweet, kind, caring, and the nicest guy you'd ever want to meet. Not perfect but he was close! There was "something" about him that made you strive to be the best you could be. We welcome the day that we will see him again. God Bless you my little brother.
My card design was inspired by a wooden sign at today's IC365 website, Signals:
Stamps: Rubber Stampede, SU (don't know names of either set)
Paper: SU, MPad black c.s., Paper Studios white c.s.
Ink: Ranger di, Stazon black and dove grey

Gabby....I lost my sweet little sister several years ago, when she was just 48 so I can totally relate to everything you've said. I'm crying as I write this.....but we all know that's a good thing every once in a while. I love your card. It's beautiful.

Oh Gabby, this is so sweet and touching. It gave me goosebumps and little tears. I lost my brother earlier this year - and while it was very different circumstances, I can relate to this so much. What an amazing card in remembrance of your brother. Beautifully done - hugs to you!
