This is my attempt at the color challenge and the sketch challenge. It is a shameless CASE exactly from the sketch challenge sample. The original was so pretty though I had to try it. I had originally tried (for my first time) the Cracked Glass technique and failed miserably. The EP cracked and peeled right off. I was able to save my image and to cover up my mistake made it look a little distressed. I put Crystal Effects in the center of the flowers and added Dazzling Diamonds Glitter. I did 3 different styles with different words on the top panel and I liked this one the best. I really need more sentiment stamps. I didn't have Cameo Coral ink for the bloom so I blended a couple colors of my Non-SU markers to come up with the color on the bloom.

Note: IRL the ribbon matches the Apricot Appeal CS much better than in the scan. Guess the light reflects off the ribbon differently. I also forgot to mention that I usted Itty Bitty Backgrounds on the top panel and used DTP with the Apricot Appeal ink pad as well. OK I'm done now. LOL

The fact that you took something and made it awesome shows how creative you can be. Don't give up on the cracked glass. I so love the effect it has. follow the technique listed and try it again.
The colors on this are awesome. Must have missed this challenge
