For Teapot Tuesday, inspired by Sabrina's Japanese teapot. We are doing Asian-inspired cards for the monthly "tickle a teapotter" exchange. This is sort of a mishmash of Asian-type do-dads I had around, including origami paper, Japanese paper wire (I can't quite come up with the right name for it, but I'm pretty sure it starts with "mit"), and mulberry paper.

Mizuhiki cord!! I love it, I should have thought to use it myself. The mulberry paper looks perfect too - I used to have some gorgeous Japanese silk paper DH got me. And the embossed bamboos look wonderful - I can just imagine the wind rustling through them.

The clear embossed bamboo is beautiful! I am impressed you came up with beginning letter of the cord. When I saw Sabrina's response I knew there is no way I will remember but boy do I like it and the effect it has on your card.
