This week is Tickle a Teapotter week and it's all about the Tea! So grab a cup of soothing tea and enjoy the gallery of SCS this week!
Our theme is not just about the tea, but the Asian / Oriental theme. So I went with the colors of red and gold. Granted this card shows so much better IRL!
It has the Chinese symbols for Wisdom and Love and bamboo stamped with Versa Mark and clear ep. The center panel is one of the new Spellbinder D-Lites, done in gold and red.
You cannot see it here, but the inside has a gold panel with the bamboo stamped and embossed all over, with the word Joy. Whichever Teapotter gets this, it can be used for several occasions.

Beautiful Asian inspired card, Jennifer. The red/gold was the PERFECT choice....and the way you used them is fabulous with the gold bg and red lacquer-like die cuts.

Oh my, doesn't this just capture the elegant lacquer-ware look! It reminds me of some of the designs in the coffee shops we used to go to when we were little - they were called Bewley's Oriental Cafes, and were themed accordingly. I don't think they sell their tea in tins anymore, but I definitely have a black and gold and red one in the cupboard with my Jasmine tea in it.
The gold layered on gold is so rich looking!

I love the red and gold together and ho you lightly set the symbols on top. One of my fav. die-cute bordering the pretty flowers too....Great for the _Tea-party...the inside sounds gorgeous too...right on.

First of all I am impressed you know the Chinese symbols for wisdom and love! The red and gold color palette is so eye catching and is perfect for this week's challenge.
