I wanted to make a card to honor our queen, Mrs Noofy/Sue. I have always admired your cool neutral penciled cards (I've even CASEd one before) so I chose to CASE this one WT328 Just for You by Mrs Noofy at Splitcoaststampers. I stamped my images onto Sahara Sand and took black, white and grey watercolor pencils to add depth. I used a black gel pen to extend the image to the right some. I used decorative edge scissors to cut out my images and framing. I used my black marker and the stampamajig to make my sentiment horizontal. I had seen Dini use this cool technique with buttons WT401 - English Robin by dini at Splitcoaststampers and we talked it through on the HYCCT prize winners thread and felt brave enough to try it out.

Wow! This looks fabulous. The technique turned out really well for you and I love the button. Sometimes a nice quiet colour scheme really does make a more powerful card. I absolutely love the results of this one. Thank you for casing one of my cards for the QFTD challenge and for making my day so special.

Lovely card, Gail! So peaceful. The button looks great here! It looks nautical with the images.
