Today's Free 4 All Challenge is to use glitter; honestly, I don't use it often so this was a little difficult for me. I thought about these ornaments that I had been playing around with and had left undone.
I have seen some beautifully reverse masked/sponged ornaments in the gallery and thought I might try it out using the Ornament Keepsake Framelits. This challenge pushed me to finish the ornaments, glittering them like the old fashioned glass ornaments we hung on the tree when I was young.
I stamped a snowflake stamp on the green ornament and the mistletoe from the Watercolor Winter Stampin' Up set on the red ornament and then used stickles to glitter them.
These masked ornaments were a bit time consuming but fun! I will definitely tweak things if I try this technique again. TFL!

I still have some of my grandmother's glittered ornaments like this! I loved them as a child and kept them, obviously, for sentimental reasons. You did a great job on yours. A festive and pretty card!

Thank you for your sweet comment on my snowman card. I love this card here. Beautiful and clever the way you used 2 different stamps to get the holly leaf effect on your ornament.
